All other members will then see you’ve verified your Govt. ID, and they’ll be more likely to choose to rideshare with you! Verifying your Govt. ID will make carpooling easier than ever!
You can verify the following types of IDs and it only takes a few seconds to submit your ID details:
- Aadhaar card
- Passport
- PAN card
How to verify your Govt. ID
- 1. Log in to your BlaBlaCar accounton www.blablacar.in or the BlaBlaCar mobile app
- 2. Go to the “Verification” section of your profile
- 3. Click on “Please verify your Govt. ID”
- 4. Upload your Govt. ID document (you can even take a photo of it on your smartphone)
- 5. Done!
The copy or photo of your Govt. ID will then be submitted to our trusted third-party provider in order to verify that your ID is authentic.
Other members will not be able to see your Govt. ID details on your profile, or elsewhere on the BlaBlaCar platform. Your ID details will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used by BlaBlaCar and our third-party provider to verify your ID.
